I am looking for a Junior Project Manager to join my client, a leading civil engineering and building contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. They operate across Ireland and specialise in a wide range of works, including bridge rehabilitation, rail infrastructure, piling, marine, heritage, and large-scale civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior project managers with planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.

Assist with the coordination of site resources, subcontractors, materials, and project documentation.

Prepare and update method statements, risk assessments, and compliance reports.

Monitor adherence to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Contribute to cost control, procurement, and value engineering processes.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and meeting documentation.

Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Gain exposure to diverse projects including rail, piling, marine, and heritage works.
Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Previous experience in a junior PM / project coordination role (placement or graduate-level experience considered).

Familiarity with construction processes, project scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Full driving licence with flexibility to travel to various sites.
