My client, a well known asset management firm in Dublin is looking for a Product Project Manager.
You will support the delivery of a wide range of projects related to pre/post-launch product and service management.
The ideal candidate already has some professional services experience within the asset management/financial services sector via training in either Audit & Assurance, Advisory or Consulting etc. and is interested in an opportunity to gain excellent experience in a rapidly growing asset manager with exposure to the full fund “life cycle”, from idea generation to product launch to post launch product management.
Your duties will include but will not be limited to the following:
•Assist with successful and effective end-to-end delivery of product management related projects and day-to-day tasks which span from approval of the original idea - to launch phase - to post-authorisation fund amendments;
•Work and communicate effectively with senior management and team members, providing relevant summary updates and escalations as appropriate;
•Manage reporting requirements, project plans, project status reports, RAID logs, management updates and other reports as required;
•Building strong internal relationships and interacting proactively with key stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues, and provide analysis to inform project deliverables;
•Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product management policies, processes, and procedures and utilise this knowledge on projects and day-to-day tasks to support projects;
•Assist with product-related presentations to Senior Management (e.g. new product ideas, product pipeline, reporting sales figures, market trends etc.);
•Assist with product documentation coordination (e.g. Fund supplement, prospectus, KIID/KID
etc.) with both internal and external stakeholders
•Assist with product management governance i.e. scheduling and facilitating Product Committee and Sustainable Finance Committee meetings, including preparation of agendas and documentation of minutes;
•Assist with coordination of UCITs, MiFID-related and Solvency II regular
Qualifications and Experience:
•Third level degree (Business/Finance degree is desirable, but other backgrounds/qualifications can be considered).
•3-year proven work experience in financial services or working for an advisory firm advising financial service companies.
•Minimum of 3+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all project lifecycle elements (i.e. project initiation, planning & development, design/execution, closure).
•Experience working on projects/engagement with clients in the Financial Services Sector (Asset Management/ Banking/Insurance etc.).
•Comfortable working under pressure, in a demanding environment and to tight deadline, delivering results.
•Project Management qualification (such as PRINCE2 or PMP) would be desirable.
•Familiarity with Morningstar and Fund info platforms would be desirable.
•Familiarity with UCITS and AIFMD/MiFID legislation would be desirable.
