Project Manager – Asset Management

My client, a growing asset management company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of projects related to fund launches and ongoing product management, while gaining valuable exposure across the full product lifecycle in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for someone with professional services or financial services experience, such as in audit, advisory, consulting, or operations, who is now looking to progress their career within a dynamic and expanding asset manager.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, high-performing team. You’ll report directly to senior leadership and collaborate across departments and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of end-to-end product-related projects, from initial concept and approval through to launch and post-launch changes.
  • Coordinate project tasks and timelines, ensuring milestones are met and documentation is kept up to date.
  • Prepare project materials including plans, status reports, RAID logs, and summary updates for senior management.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers (e.g. administrators, distributors, data vendors) to coordinate product documentation such as prospectuses and KIIDs/KIDs.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for internal governance and senior leadership, covering product pipeline, sales data, and market trends.
  • Help facilitate governance meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Contribute to the coordination of regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. UCITS, MiFID, Solvency II) across departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A third-level qualification, ideally in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a project management, operations, or advisory role within financial services.
  • Proven track record of supporting or managing projects through all lifecycle phases.
  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) would be a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, or MiFID regulations, and familiarity with platforms like Morningstar or Fund Info, would be beneficial.
