Production Trainer – Manufacturing

We are looking for a Company Trainer with a strong background as a technician or operator in manufacturing. This hands-on experience will allow you to deliver practical, high-quality training to new and existing staff, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, health & safety, and operational standards. This role is with one of the Midlands’ top food production companies and offers a competitive salary plus pension.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver inductions covering H&S, chemical safety, manual handling, PPE, hygiene, and company policies.

Provide on-the-job training on machinery, equipment, and production tasks, including GMP, SOPs, portioning, packing, and cleaning.

Monitor new starter progress, competence, and performance, escalating issues as required.

Deliver toolbox talks, refresher sessions, and mandatory compliance training.

Support employees with language barriers or additional needs through coaching, buddy systems, and visual aids.

Maintain accurate training records and provide regular reports to HR, H&S, and management.

Identify training gaps and recommend improvements to support engagement and retention.
Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience as a technician/operator in manufacturing is essential.

Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and floor-level operations.

Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.

Passion for developing others, adaptable, and proactive in delivering training.
