Production / Maintenance Supervisor – Midlands-Based Dairy Producer
My client, a farm-to-fork dairy business in the Midlands, is hiring a Production / Maintenance Supervisor to support their high-hygiene, food-safe production environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll lead daily production line operations, supervise staff, and manage plant and equipment maintenance. Ideal for someone mechanically minded with food manufacturing experience and a keen eye for hygiene and safety.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee production line activities and team
- Plan and carry out preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols
- Drive efficiency and reduce waste
- Keep accurate production and maintenance records
- Weekend work required (paid at premium rates)
What You’ll Need
✅ Experience in food production or manufacturing
✅ Mechanical or maintenance background essential
✅ Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
✅ Ability to work independently and follow procedures
✅ Own transport (rural location)
Ideally you'll also have Food-related qualifications or HACCP training and be familar with BRC standards
