Production Operative – Little Island / Carrigtwohill
Our client, a contract manufacturer who deliver specialised services to the pharmaceutical industry, are seeking experienced Production Operatives to join their team in Little Island and Carrigtwohill.
As a Production Operative, you’ll be part of the team responsible for manufacturing high-quality containment products used in the pharmaceutical industry. You’ll follow detailed instructions, maintain production standards, and contribute to a safe and compliant work space.
The Position
- Permanent Position
- Monday to Thursday working week (3 x 10 hour shifts and 1 x 9 hour shift)
Responsibilities:
- Carry out production tasks including ferruling, cutting, and impulse welding of products
- Operate machinery safely and effectively according to project specifications
- Complete and maintain all required documentation accurately and on time
- Follow GMP, GDP, and all gowning and cleanroom procedures
- Recommend improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety
- Assist with packaging, cleaning, and general maintenance duties
- Participate in ongoing training and support new team members
- Be flexible to take on additional tasks and available for overtime when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleanroom environment is advantageous.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and health & safety standards
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, HSS 01, and manual handling procedures is beneficial.
