About the Shift Manager Job
Our client, a leading food production company in Tipperary, is seeking a dedicated Shift Manager to oversee production operations. This role is ideal for a proactive and highly organized leader who can manage ever-changing priorities and drive efficiency on the production floor.
Commutable from: Templemore, Borrisoleigh, Roscrea, Nenagh, Cloughjordan, Cashel, Holycross, Dundrum, Tipperary Town, Cahir, Urlingford, Johnstown, Ballyragget & Kilkenny City.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a production team of over 60 employees across multiple production lines.
- Oversee all aspects of production, from raw material processing to chilling, freezing, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure all products meet strict quality standards and tight production timelines.
- Manage shift performance, ensuring targets are met across production output, stock management, quality control, and health & safety compliance.
- Maintain a structured approach to production planning, problem-solving, and contingency management to ensure seamless operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in production supervision or management within the food industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills capable of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities, capable of adapting to shifting priorities.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and production efficiency.
