My client, a practice based in Co. Meath with more than 30 years of experience, is looking for 2 Part-Qualified Accountants (non-audit) to join their team on a hybrid scheme.
You will report to the Accounts Services Manager and you Must have at least two year of general accounts preparation experience.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of year end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets
Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity of posting journals onto accounting software
Assist with the preparation of management accounts
Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements
Assist with year-end close out and year end journals
Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
Liaising with clients – confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence
Assisting manager on special client assignments
Requirements:
Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA
Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience
Results orientated
Excellent technical abilities
Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
Excellent communication and customer care skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to work on own initiative
