Plant Manager - Fermoy, Co. Cork - Senior Leadership Role
Our client, based in Fermoy, requires an experienced Plant Manager to lead its Fermoy production operation. The business continues to invest heavily in technology, value-added processing, renewable energy, and manufacturing capacity. This role offers the chance to join a high-growth, innovation-focused organisation at a key strategic time.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead all Production, Maintenance, and SHEQ activities on a busy site employing approx. 120 people. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on wider group manufacturing targets.
Your duties will include:
- Champion a safe working environment and ensure full SHEQ compliance
- Develop and deliver the site production plan to maximise business return
- Monitor performance against KPIs and drive efficiency improvements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and standardise best practices
- Build strong working relationships across production teams and supervisors
- Support recruitment, onboarding, development and engagement in partnership with HR
- Run regular production meetings and ensure alignment to plan
- Contribute to group production strategy and capital investment planning
- Oversee operations from log intake through primary and secondary processing
- Drive operational excellence and a high-performance culture
Do you have a Qualification in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing or similar?
Do you have a minimum 5 years' experience in Plant/Site Management?
Are you an experienced leader who brings clarity, direction and momentum to teams?
