A global manufacturing organisation is seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Controller to take full responsibility for the financial management and controls of a high-performing production site. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong manufacturing background, keen commercial insight, and the ability to influence plant-level decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead all site-level financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting activities
✅ Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and internal control policies
✅ Drive cost control, efficiency improvements, and KPI tracking across materials, labour, and production
✅ Provide timely financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
✅ Coordinate capital expenditure reviews and ensure adherence to budget
✅ Supervise and mentor the on-site finance team, including outsourced support
✅ Partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Minimum 7–10 years' post-qualified experience, with strong manufacturing exposure
- Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and drive site-level performance
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong ERP systems experience (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
