The Role

My client, a well-established and respected insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Insurance Client Services Advisor to join their team in North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.

As the Personal Lines Insurance Client Services Advisor, you will be responsible for handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, claims, and new business, ensuring clients receive expert advice and comprehensive support.

Tasks & Duties

  • Proactively engage with clients regarding their home and motor policy renewals, as well as address any queries related to their policies.
  • Prepare and provide accurate quotations for motor, home, marine, and travel insurance. Advise clients on mid-term policy changes, manage claims inquiries, and ensure prompt premium payments.
  • Consistently meet or exceed renewal and new business targets while identifying and capitalising on cross-selling opportunities across additional product lines.
  • Take full ownership of your client portfolio by delivering exceptional service and fostering strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Central Bank regulations and company policies at all times, ensuring full compliance in all activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams and insurers to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely outcomes that meet client needs.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Personal Lines insurance, with a preference for home and motor expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Irish Personal Lines insurance market.
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with a strong client-focused mindset.
  • Holder of APA Personal, CIP, or Grandfathered qualification, with full CPD compliance.
  • Proficiency in Relay or Applied Systems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines efficiently.
