The Role
My client, an established Irish Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Advisor to join there team. This is a full-time, permanent, office based position in Sligo.
As the Personal Lines Advisor, you will deliver excellent client service by managing personal insurance policies, handling queries and renewals, promoting new business, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Tasks & Duties
- Promote and generate new business across all personal lines, including motor, home, farm, van, health, and marine insurance.
- Manage client policies by processing queries, making amendments, and supporting day-to-day administrative needs.
- Oversee the annual renewal cycle to maximise client retention and satisfaction.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities by understanding clients’ wider insurance needs.
- Deliver excellent client service and engagement through both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
- Work collaboratively to achieve team goals while ensuring full compliance with CBI, CPC, GDPR, and internal policies.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
- Previous experience and knowledge within a personal insurance environment is essential.
- APA qualification is a minimum requirement, with progression towards CIP considered an advantage
- A strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance and be available for onsite work.
