The Role
My client, a well-established and respected insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Administrator to join their team in North County Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position.
As the Personal Lines Administrator, you will play a key supporting role in ensuring the timely and accurate renewal of home and motor insurance policies by preparing renewal documentation, updating policy information, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will manage the issuance of documentation related to any mid-term policy alterations.
Tasks & Duties
- Accurately generate and issue renewal documentation for motor and home insurance clients.
- Review and process policy schedules, endorsements, and all necessary supporting paperwork.
- Stay informed about updates from product providers regarding policy wording changes to ensure clients receive the most suitable products.
- Consistently meet deadlines and quality standards for renewals and new business processing.
- Maintain precise records in Relay or Applied Systems and support system housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Ensure full adherence to Central Bank regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate closely with account executives and sales advisers to facilitate seamless client servicing.
- Identify and flag inconsistencies or errors promptly, assisting in their timely resolution.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Personal Lines insurance, preferably with a focus on home and motor.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish Personal Lines market is a distinct advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain high accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent administrative, time management, and organisational skills.
- APA Personal, CIP (in progress), or Grandfathered qualification preferred, with full CPD compliance.
- Proficiency in Relay or Applied Systems is highly desirable.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Well-organised and able to effectively manage deadlines.
