A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated professional to take on the role of Area Manager in Galway. This key leadership role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports across residential and community-based services.

The role is based on a 7-day duty roster. While hours of work may vary between 8:00am and 8:00pm over seven days, the post will primarily operate Monday to Friday. Participation in a shared on-call rota is an essential requirement, along with a willingness to attend external meetings outside of normal working hours and positively represent the organisation.

Requirements:

  • A nursing qualification, RNID/RNMH is an advantage, and candidates must be currently registered with the NMBI or hold a relevant third-level qualification in the Health/Social Care Sector.

  • Candidates must be eligible for registration on the Social Care Register at CORU on or before 30th November 2025. Approved qualifications can be viewed here:

  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in the Health Sector.

  • A recognised management qualification is required. Candidates should have experience in budgetary/financial management, employee relations, and team management.

  • Full clean Irish manual driving licence is essential.
