Payroll Specialist
We are working with a leading Irish manufacturing organisation seeking to appoint an experienced Payroll Specialist. This full-time, permanent position is based in Co. Laois and offers responsibility for managing payroll for a large, multi-site workforce across Ireland.
The Role
You will manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. This includes processing payments, pensions, deductions and benefits, as well as preparing reports and supporting HR and Finance with payroll data.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing for 370+ employees
- Ensure compliance with PAYE, PRSI, USC and company policies
- Administer pensions, benefits and payroll reconciliations
- Prepare monthly reports and assist with payroll audits
- Resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and legislation knowledge
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience, ideally in manufacturing or production
- IPASS or equivalent qualification desirable
- Strong Excel skills; Collsoft experience an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong communication and organisational skills
