About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Nurse in Intellectual Disability (RNID) for a weekend-only relief position based in Ballinagh, Co. Cavan. This is a one-to-one nursing role in a home-based care environment requiring consistency and reliability.
There is a strong potential for this to transition into a permanent position, with the possibility of picking up weekday hours in the near future for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality one-to-one nursing care in a home-based setting

Administer PEG feeding and manage nutritional needs

Monitor and respond to epilepsy and other clinical needs

Support daily routines and ensure a safe and engaging environment

Maintain accurate care records and adhere to all relevant standards and protocols
Requirements

NMBI Registration with a Level 8 Nursing qualification

PEG feeding and epilepsy care experience required

Experience in intellectual disability (ID) care

no driving required during shift however you must be able to travel to location

Must be fully available every weekend – consistency is essential
