FRS Recruitment is working alongside a service in Louth County Hospital on behalf of the HSE to recruit an Ophthalmic Healthcare Assistant for a 6-month contract, commencing January 2026.

Salary:
HSE 2025 payscales
Requirements

QQI / FETAC Level 5 qualification in Healthcare

Experience working within healthcare services in Ireland

Previous ophthalmic experience is desirable; however, full external training will be provided

Ability to commit fully to the pre-employment compliance process
Compliance Requirements
Successful candidates must complete the HSE compliance process prior to commencing, including:

Garda Vetting

International police clearance (if applicable)

3 satisfactory references

Occupational Health clearance

Mandatory training requirements
