Job Description:
We are currently seeking part-time Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for ongoing agency work in a low-dependency elderly care home located in Ballraggat, Kilkenny. This is a small, 10-resident facility focused on providing a calm, supportive, and person-centred environment.

Day shifts initially, with night shifts available after induction

Hourly rate of €16.00 – €17.50, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks

Providing emotional and social support

Light housekeeping and meal preparation

Helping maintain a warm, “home away from home” atmosphere for residents
Requirements:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting (home care, nursing home, hospital, etc.)

Open to candidates with or without full FETAC Level 5, or those working towards completion

A compassionate, dependable, and flexible approach to care
