Registered Nurse (Part-Time, Fixed-Term) – Mobile Clinic | Tuam
Location: Tuam, Co. Galway (with travel across the West of Ireland)

A well-established healthcare provider is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a mobile clinic team operating in the West of Ireland. This fixed-term, part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a nurse-led environment delivering essential donor care and clinical services in line with national healthcare and safety standards.

This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse looking to contribute meaningfully to public health while maintaining a strong work-life balance through part-time hours.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct donor screening, eligibility assessments, and venepuncture

  • Monitor donor wellbeing during and after donation, managing any adverse events

  • Ensure all clinical activity complies with internal SOPs and external legislative standards

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of incidents and complaints

  • Support and participate in clinical audits and staff training

  • Provide cover across different clinics in the region as needed

  • Act as Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) nominee when required


Requirements:

Essential:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) – any division

  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience

  • Experience managing people in a clinical setting

  • Demonstrated continuous professional development (CPD)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and clinical information systems

Desirable:

  • Full clean driving licence (preferred due to travel requirements)
