Part Qualified Accountant
Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm Mon–Thu & 8:30am–2:30pm Fridays
Hybrid: Remote Mondays & Fridays
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage
- Reconcile balance sheet items (VAT, Payroll, leases, HP, fixed assets)
- Post journals and ensure sound application of accounting principles
- Assist with management accounts preparation
- Prepare statutory financial statements and follow internal checklists & procedures
- Support year-end close out and prepare year-end journals
- Prepare Corporation Tax Returns
- Liaise confidently with clients via phone and written correspondence
- Assist the manager with special assignments
What You Bring
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in accounting practice
- Strong technical skills & financial acumen
- Attention to detail and ownership of tasks
- Excellent communication and client-care skills
- Strong planning, organisation & ability to work independently
- Fluent written and spoken English
Technical Skills
- CCH Accounts Production
- Excel (Intermediate/Advanced preferred)
- Surf, Xero, Sage Line 50
- Microsoft Suite
- Corporation Tax Pro
