I'm currently recruiting for On Call Receptionist to join a busy team in Tullamore, Co. Offaly
As a Main Receptionist /Switchboard operator, you're usually the first point of contact for anyone who phones . You'll operate switchboard equipment to receive calls and pass them on to the correct person or department. It’s a very busy environment.
THE ROLE
- Reception duties: greet patients and direct them to the correct department, answer and redirect incoming calls, respond to patient's questions and schedule appointments, multitask in a fast-paced environment
- To maintain the computer clinic system in an accurate and secure manner
- To maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily accessible and secure
- Admin: To provide an efficient audio, copy typing and word processing service for the clinical and management team as required. This includes the typing of letters, reports, patient referrals etc. in an accurate and quality manner
- If and when required basis / may be required to working during weekend.
- Hours can vary between 8am and 10pm
- 16.87 euro per hour plus shift allowance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical terminology and understanding of medical systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Diary management and organisational skills
- Dictaphone typing / typing skills
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Understand the importance of GDPR and confidentiality
- Immediately available
