I’m recruiting on behalf of a long-established, family-run business based close to Adare. This is a rare opportunity to step into a trusted and valued role supporting a small, friendly team across farming and property-related operations.
The role offers a calm, respectful working environment and would suit someone local to the area seeking part-time hours—ideal for someone returning to work or looking for reduced hours.
Hours:
Part-time (approx. 9:30am–1pm, 4 days per week – flexibility on days)
Key Responsibilities:
- General office administration and file management
- Processing payments and tracking invoices
- Liaising with accountants, solicitors, and external advisors
- Scheduling meetings, taking notes, and following up on tasks
- Handling sensitive and confidential communications
- Supporting seasonal and ad hoc tasks across the business
About You:
- Professional, discreet, and kind, with a flexible, can-do approach
- Confident with standard IT tools; some experience with accounts/admin is important
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently, with occasional collaboration
- Familiarity with or interest in farming and Irish heritage would be an advantage
- Must like dogs – they’re very much part of daily life at the office!
Practical Information:
- The office is located in a rural area, approximately 20 minutes from Limerick
- Own transport is essential
- The team values work-life balance: no working between Christmas and New Year, Good Friday and bank holidays off, and generous holiday flexibility
If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming environment where your reliability, trustworthiness, and attention to detail will be genuinely appreciated, I’d love to hear from you.
