I am seeking a CORU registered Staff Grade Occupational T herapist specialising in Mental Health, in Tallaght, Dublin. This role will be based in an Acute In-patient unit and provides care for adults and older adults. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, person-centred OT service to this designated clinical area and will carry out clinical and educational duties. This service offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative team with support from a Senior OT and OT Manager.
This post is based in Tallaght Hospital. This location is within walking distance to local shops. Transport links include nearby access to Luas Tram stops, by car and various Transport for Ireland bus routes.
Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy Qualification that is recognised by CORU
- CORU registration
- Previous experience in Mental Health is needed
- Proven ability to manage a case load independently and work well in a team
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
