Our client, a leading food production company based in West Cork, is seeking an NPD Technologist to join their innovative team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering excellent exposure to the development of high-quality food products for both Irish and European markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and lead NPD/EPD projects from concept to launch

Ensure all new products meet agreed technical and quality standards

Work cross-functionally with production, sales, and technical teams

Liaise directly with key retail customers during product development

Maintain compliance with internal processes, policies, and food legislation
Requirements:
-
Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline
-
3+ years’ experience in FMCG or food manufacturing (quality, development, or technical)

Strong project management and communication skills

High attention to detail and passion for food and innovation
-
Knowledge of food safety systems (e.g. BRC, HACCP) and legal labelling
