Mortgage Advisor
Job Description:
This role is for an experienced Mortgage Advisor in a dynamic mortgage brokerage, supporting clients with property purchases and mortgage switches. As part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be a team player, and be adept at managing a client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide clients on available mortgage options, offering personalised advice.
- Manage the full mortgage process, including preparation, submission, and follow-up on applications with various providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Track and manage new business pipelines to ensure timely progress on applications.
- Coordinate with clients and lenders throughout the mortgage completion process.
- Maintain comprehensive, compliant client files and handle day-to-day administrative inquiries.
- Support all aspects of new business processing and existing client reviews.
- Keep the CRM system updated to reflect accurate client and business pipeline information.
- Handle general office and administrative tasks, with flexibility to take on additional responsibilities to support business growth.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a mortgage advisory or similar financial advisory role.
- QFA / APA Qualified
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish mortgage market, products, and lending criteria.
- Experience liaising with lenders, solicitors, and other third-party providers in the mortgage process.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other mortgage processing software.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in guiding clients through complex financial decisions.
This is a full-time, permanent position with an established mortgage brokerage in Clonmel. Hybrid working.
