Molecular Biology Technician Job, Waterford Permanent
This leading pharma company in Waterford has a new job opportunity for a Molecular Biology Laboratory Technician to join their team and provide support on key projects . My client is currently expanding its molecular development capabilities . The role offers significant opportunities for growth and development of both laboratory and personal attributes and offers an opportunity to put your PCR and Elisa knowledge and experience to good practical use.
This is what you’ll be doing:
- Performing molecular biology techniques including RNA extraction, PCR and Elisa
- Producing reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results
- Reporting data
- Following work instructions for all laboratory tasks
Requirements for the Molecular Biology Laboratory Technician
- A degree in Biology/Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry or related subject
- Experience of carrying out molecular biology activities including RNA extraction, Elisa and PCR in a GMP environment (essential)
- Good knowledge of laboratory housekeeping
