FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Mill Operative - Agri
on behalf of a progressive agribusiness in the North Tipperary area. This is a fulltime, permanent role.
Our Client has been supporting the agri industry in the Midlands for over 50 years and in that period the business has made an important contribution to the farming sector.
With 2 separate positions available [Dayshift or Night Shift], this role would be ideally suited to an individual located in Offaly/North Tipperary/Laois Area.
Role:
Mill Operative – Day Shift
Mill Operative – Night Shift
Location:
North Tipperary [Will also suit candidates in Laois/Offaly]
Salary:
€35k + DOE [Bonus on Night Shift]
Duties:
• To support the production requirements of the mill by working as part of a highly committed & efficient team
• Setting and operating Milling Machines
• Operate Milling plant, monitor plant performance, in-process product testing and optimise efficiencies.
• Pellet & coarse ration production.
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery and surrounding area
• Keep supervisor and/or QC informed of any issues.
• Following production schedules/deadlines as directed mill manager/supervisor.
• Adhering to Company and statutory hygiene, quality, safety and policies and standards.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
Candidate:
• Shift Work Required.
• Some Weekend work required.
• Good verbal reasoning, numerate ability and mechanical aptitude skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of computers.
• Fork Lift Licence or loader ticket an advantage.
