The Role
As a Microbiology Registrar, you will work closely with the Consultant Microbiologist and be involved in:

Diagnostic microbiology and laboratory practice

Managing and monitoring infectious diseases

Advising on antibiotic utilisation and stewardship

Infection prevention and control
-
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in patient care

Requirements

Active registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

Previous experience in microbiology and/or infectious diseases desirable

Permission to work in Ireland:

Stamp 4 or 1G GNIB, or

Irish, UK, or EU passport, or

Candidates from visa-exempt countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA) will also be considered
