Member Services Officer (MSO) – Phones Team
I am currently working with one of the largest and most successful Credit Unions in the country. We now have a new vacancy in their Phones Team in Dublin. The successful candidate may also provide support to branch teams if/when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to start a career in the credit union/financial sector and gain valuable experience in member services.
Role Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Phones Team and may also provide support to branch teams if required. Duties will include:
- Providing members with a courteous, pleasant, and professional service primarily via the call centre, website/email, or back-office support.
- Assisting members face-to-face on occasion.
- Processing loan applications, supporting members with account management, acting as teller, assisting with Credit Control queries, and providing guidance on the full range of services.
- Carrying out back-office administrative/operational duties as required.
- Supporting and actively participating in sustainability initiatives (energy, water and waste reduction).
Requirements
- QFA / CUA / APA in Loans & Savings & Investments preferred, or willingness to complete relevant exams
- Good IT skills.
- Excellent member/customer service skills.
- Excellent administration skills with strong attention to detail.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
