My client based in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo is looking for an experienced Receptionist/Secretary to cover a 6 month maternity leave starting end of December 2025.
The cover would be for 3 days per week Monday Wednesday and Friday, 8 hours per day
Duties:
- Cover Reception
- Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
- Check-in patients, collect necessary information, and update patient records as needed.
- Ensure a comfortable and friendly waiting area for patients.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently.
- Coordinate with dental staff to schedule and reschedule appointments as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience in a receptionist or admin role (previous experience working in a medical practice is desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with office software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
