Are you a passionate and skilled Medical Scientist ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a leading hospital in Dublin, is seeking a dedicated Medical Scientist to support and co-ordinate laboratory services, with a particular focus on Haematology and Blood Transfusion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and authorise laboratory tests, particularly in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
- Maintain and implement SOPs, quality management systems, and accreditation standards
- Support training, operational procedures, and laboratory IT systems
- Participate in on-call rotas and contribute to service delivery improvements
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Biomedical Science (or equivalent)
- CORU Registration (essential)
- Minimum 1 year’s multidisciplinary lab experience
- Blood Transfusion experience (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and team collaboration
Desirable:
- Post-qualification experience
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems and health service operations
