Your New Mechanical Design Engineer Job:
We’re looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for agriculture.
You’ll work with farmers and sales teams to create innovative solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and animal welfare—taking projects from concept through design, production, and on-farm installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design efficient farm layouts and animal flow systems
- Manage projects from concept to installation
- Produce manufacturing drawings and collaborate with production
- Research and develop new products to enhance farming systems
- Apply Lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
About You:
- Degree/experience in mechanical design engineering
- Strong interest or background in agriculture
- Skilled in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
- Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing
- Project management ability with strong attention to detail
- Full, clean driving licence
