The Role

My client, a leading Irish insurance company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid position based in Dublin 12.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating company marketing and events to maximise brand presence, stakeholder engagement, and ROI while managing budgets and relationships.

Tasks & Duties

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing and events plan, ensuring alignment with business KPIs, budgets, and procurement policies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and beneficiaries, providing regular updates and quarterly briefings on initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate events, sponsorships, conferences, exhibitions, and awards, identifying innovative opportunities to engage audiences and maximise brand impact.
  • Create and execute PR and contact strategies to promote marketing and event initiatives internally and externally.
  • Produce quarterly reports and evaluate marketing and event performance, recommending optimisation's and integrating ESG and broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with agencies and stakeholders, leveraging customer insights, market trends, and best practices to deliver high-quality, effective campaigns.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing and event management experience, with strong knowledge of the relevant market sector is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a busy events calendar with commercial focus, high organisation, and attention to execution excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and work effectively cross-functionally.
  • Energetic and results-oriented, with a drive to deliver innovative marketing and event initiatives.
