We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join our client – a leader in Europe within the FMCG Industry. This is a key role that combines management and financial reporting with a strong focus on systems development and process improvement. You will play a pivotal part in delivering accurate weekly and monthly accounts, driving cost control, and enhancing finance systems to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report weekly accounts for specific cost/revenue centres, providing insights to drive business performance.
  • Deliver monthly management and financial accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partner with Operations on product yields, stock valuations, and labour cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment with weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Lead finance systems development:
    • Enhance ERP functionality across finance modules.
    • Implement and test new systems and reporting tools using BI software.
    • Automate processes and improve integration between Finance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse.
    • Identify and deliver process efficiencies and internal controls.
  • Manage finance-related projects, including planning, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with IT and technology teams to develop and improve solutions.
  • Support formal project and change management initiatives.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial projects as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Strong financial and management accounting expertise.
    • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Excellent project management skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outputs.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across departments.
    • Self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy.
