Our client, a long-established and highly respected name in the automotive industry, is seeking a Qualified Management Accountant to join their dynamic team at their Limerick office. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements for the group.
- Manage a portfolio of clients with timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Handle tax compliance including VAT, corporation tax, and income tax returns.
- Assist with management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Review and mentor team members work.
- Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure budget adherence and variance analysis.
- Conduct rolling forecasts and scenario planning.
- Liaise with directors, departments, and stakeholders on financial matters.
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software.
- Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
- Practical experience in tax return preparation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
