Our client, based in Kildare, is currently recruiting a maintenance technician for their state of the art, food production facility. This is a fully automated, clean production environment where food product is processed 24/7. This job requires flexibility to work shift, this is a Monday to Friday evening maintenance technician job. The hourly rate and shift premium is generous and you will be joining a large company where promotional prospects are available.
Are you a qualified electrician or fitter?
Do you have more than a years post apprenticeship experience working in a factory maintenance team?
Do you have experience working with PLC's?
Are you willing to work shifts?
Duties will include:
• Carry out installations and commissioning of plant / equipment & trouble shooting of same.
• Carry out basic programming and diagnostic of plant and equipment.
• Contribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machinery & minimise
downtime in production and utility areas.
• Carry out the execution of the preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshooting using PLC Programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, General Electric, and
Schneider Electric PLCs).
• Technical support for all the plant facilities (including but not limited to compressed air &
refrigeration).
