Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contractor Maintenance Technician to join our clients team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of process equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems.

Electrical and electronic system experience is a strong asset.

Identify and resolve root causes of equipment failure and propose long-term preventative solutions.

Record all equipment breakdowns in the maintenance management system.

Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) and suggest improvements to current PM procedures.

Ensure critical spare parts inventory is maintained for essential equipment.

Communicate repair status, issues, and timelines to management and relevant departments.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and specialists as needed.

Uphold and promote all site safety policies as an active member of the site safety team.

Work closely with other departments to support seamless daily operations.
Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, particularly troubleshooting pumps, motors, and grinding/milling machines.

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, or medical device settings is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contractors.

Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused individual with strong problem-solving ability.
