Our client, based in Kildare, requires a Maintenance Manager for their new, state of the art, food production facility. You will be joining an established company that is part of a large group of companies, where support and collaboration go hand in hand.
- Do you have an Electrical Qualification? Trade or Degree?
- Do you have 5 years experience leading a maintenance team in a production environment? (food preferable)
- Have you been involved in project management?
- Do you have budget management experience?
Your Duties will include:
- Drive plant efficiencies across all areas
- Design and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods
- Collaborate with the production team to provide engineering solutions
- Manage and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System FLEX
- Ensure constant supply of electrical services & mechanical services for the site
- Be actively involved in any lean initiatives to improve plant efficiency
- Manage the development and up-skilling of the site maintenance team
- Install & commission new equipment
- Be responsible for setting and achieving agreed maintenance budget and targets
- Manage Maintenance PO system
- Monitor and report on electricity, gas, refrigeration, water, and steam costs
- Manage external contractors
