Maintenance Manager – Lead, Optimise, Deliver
Location: Waterford (outskirts of city)
Industry: High-volume production (food industry experience a plus, not essential)

Core Purpose
Lead and manage the mechanical and electrical maintenance team (6), ensuring the plant runs efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee preventative maintenance routines to optimise performance
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
- Maintain accurate plant maintenance records
- Manage spares inventory, costs, and ordering
- Organise plant alterations and equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
What You Bring
A mechanical fitter trade (with electrical ability) with strong knowledge of industrial equipment:
- Gearboxes, motors, pumps (positive displacement & centrifugal)
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, VSDs
Understanding of PLC process controls
Proven track record as a Maintenance Manager
Excellent communication IT and organisational skills
