Are you an experienced and proactive Maintenance Manager looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of maintenance operations across a diverse fleet, plant, and facilities, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of vital equipment.

The Role

As Maintenance Manager, you will:

  • Lead and supervise a team of fitters, mechanics, and support staff.

  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of HGVs, construction plant, and site equipment.

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Manage budgets, procurement of parts, and contractor relationships.

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and service history.

  • Coordinate emergency repairs and ensure quick, effective responses to breakdowns.

  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to align maintenance with operational needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices and asset performance.

About You

  • Proven track record in a maintenance management role, ideally within quarrying, construction, or civil engineering.

  • Strong technical expertise with HGVs, plant machinery, and workshop operations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Proficient in maintenance planning and asset management systems.

  • Full clean driving licence (HGV licence desirable).

  • Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, or a related field.
