Job Advertisement: Maintenance Fitter (Permanent, Full-Time – Night Shift)

An Experienced Maintenance Fitters is required for full-time, permanent positions within a busy Maintenance Department. The primary objective of this role is to maximise equipment uptime through proactive planned and preventative maintenance.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:00am – 07:30am

  • Friday: 7:30pm – 04:30am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across a wide range of equipment.

  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently using strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Collaborate independently with OEMs and external contractors on repairs and installations.

  • Uphold and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.

  • Utilise CMMS to manage and document all maintenance activity.

  • Engage with OEMs and vendors to diagnose issues and source replacement parts.

  • Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and site projects.

  • Ensure all tasks are performed in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain effective communication across Engineering, Production, and Quality departments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification (mandatory).

  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

  • Proficient in interpreting and working from mechanical and technical drawings.

  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills essential.

  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

  • Adaptable and proactive in changing work environments.

  • High standards of interpersonal and professional conduct.

  • Experience in the Print & Packaging sector preferred.

  • SAP PM and Microsoft Office experience advantageous.
