Job Advertisement: Maintenance Fitter (Permanent, Full-Time – Night Shift)
An Experienced Maintenance Fitters is required for full-time, permanent positions within a busy Maintenance Department. The primary objective of this role is to maximise equipment uptime through proactive planned and preventative maintenance.
Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 12:00am – 07:30am

Friday: 7:30pm – 04:30am
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across a wide range of equipment.

Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently using strong problem-solving abilities.

Collaborate independently with OEMs and external contractors on repairs and installations.

Uphold and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.

Utilise CMMS to manage and document all maintenance activity.

Engage with OEMs and vendors to diagnose issues and source replacement parts.

Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and site projects.

Ensure all tasks are performed in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Maintain effective communication across Engineering, Production, and Quality departments.
Required Skills & Experience:

Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent qualification (mandatory).

Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment.

Proficient in interpreting and working from mechanical and technical drawings.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills essential.

Capable of working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Adaptable and proactive in changing work environments.

High standards of interpersonal and professional conduct.

Experience in the Print & Packaging sector preferred.

SAP PM and Microsoft Office experience advantageous.
