Our client, a leading food manufacturer based in Kildare, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team. This is a key role, supporting the smooth running of a modern production facility while ensuring maximum machine uptime, safety, and efficiency.
The Role

Provide hands-on maintenance across production and site facilities.

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems.

Install, commission, and fault-find electrical systems and plant equipment.

Support continuous improvement projects and manage on-site contractors.

Ensure compliance with GMP, health & safety, and food quality standards.
About You
-
Qualified Electrician or third-level Engineering qualification.

3+ years’ experience in maintenance, ideally within FMCG/food production.
-
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with PLC knowledge.
-
Proactive problem-solver, able to work independently and in a team.

Safety-focused, organised, and committed to high standards.
