Our client, a leading food production company based in Kildare, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to lead a team of fitters and electricians and ensure smooth operation across production and site-wide facilities. This is a hands-on role based on site, where you will manage daily maintenance, schedule preventive and reactive work, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily maintenance operations and scheduling for production equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and manage downtime

Oversee preventive maintenance plans and monitor compliance

Manage Maintenance POs, spare parts systems, and supplier relationships

Project manage capital and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Prepare reports on maintenance activity and performance

Ensure all works meet food safety, quality, and engineering standards
Skills and Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a regulated production environment as a qualified electrician or mechanical fitter

Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

PLC knowledge advantageous

IT competent, including Microsoft Office
