FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for Logistics and Store Co-ordinator - Agri on behalf of a progressive agribusiness in the North Tipperary area. This is a full-time permanent role.
Our Client has been supporting the farming sector in the Midlands for over 50 years and in that period the business has made an important contribution to the farming sector. Based in their Head office, which is the main distribution point for our seven branches, The Logistics & Store Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of Agricultural products from supplier to our customers.
The successful candidate will have an Agri Retail/Logistics experience. The primary function of this role is to coordinate between production, warehouse, sales and distribution and to promote an effective and efficient supply chain whilst also delivering exceptional customer service at store level.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday-8am-5pm (Every Fourth Saturday 8am-1pm (Overtime))
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing all aspects of Feed/Fertilizer/Chemicals/Agri-Inputs supply chain management.
• Stock control in Feed/Chemical/Fertiliser Store.
• Processing goods inwards & outward dockets.
• Support the Shop Manager and counter sales team in daily operational duties.
• Preparing/reviewing invoices.
• Main Point of contact for customer orders and sales reps.
• Coordinating with production & logistics to ensure prompt and correct movement/delivery of product.
• Making special shipping arrangements as required.
• Tracking and fixing logistics issues in an efficient manner.
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Customer Service Experience an advantage.
• Degree in Agriculture/Supply Chain or a related subject a distinct advantage.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to work within a team.
• Ability to prioritise work and work to strict deadlines.
