We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced EU specialists in various speciality areas to join our team as Locum Consultants across multiple locations in Ireland.

As a Locum Consultant, you will provide expert medical care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in Ireland. Working closely with FRS Recruitment we will find you a suitable role in Ireland with the best possible circumstances.

Our uniquely experienced team will share their knowledge and support you in your move to Ireland from registering with the Medical Council, to assistance sourcing accommodation and setting up as a contractor, and securing the best possible locum role for your needs.

What do you need?

Suitable candidates will

  • have completed an EU or UK CCT / CCST (Complete Training) and 2-3+ years experience post training working as a specialist
  • hold full right to work in Ireland (UK or EU Passport, or Stamp 4 visa)
  • have excellent clinical skills
  • have strong communication skills - IELTS or OET examinations preferred where Qualification was not achieved through English
  • Are flexible to work across different locations and an ability to adapt to new environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care and treatment to patients in your respective speciality area.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Offer consultations and advice to colleagues and healthcare professionals as required.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and clinical audits as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, as well as maintaining a Locum Documentation compliance file with FRS Recruitment
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
