We are currently working with a leading healthcare provider to recruit an experienced and dynamic Clinical Lead to oversee ultrasound services across multiple sites in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Sonographer to step into a leadership role!
The Role:
As Lead Sonographer, you will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day clinical operations while maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient care. You'll lead a dedicated team of sonographers, contribute to service development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellence in clinical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform independent diagnostic ultrasound examinations

Oversee daily department operations, workflow, and scheduling

Support and mentor sonographers, providing training and performance reviews

Ensure equipment functionality, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Coordinate with reporting radiologists to ensure seamless service

Uphold clinical governance, best practices, and policy compliance

Identify growth opportunities and support service expansion

Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
Requirements:

BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
-
CORU registration (essential)
-
4–6+ years post-qualification experience in Ultrasound

MSc in Diagnostic Ultrasound desirable, but not essential
