My client has just opened a brand-new yeast production plant near Thurles/Templemore and is turning a dairy by-product into a sustainable, non-GMO feed. Now they’re looking for a Lab Technician to join their growing team.

What You’ll Be Doing (full training provided):

Get up to speed with existing lab methods and SOPs.

Help set up and run semi-automated bioreactor systems.

Prepare yeast seed trains from lab scale → 100L bioreactor → 2,500L fermenter.

Support production fermenters with calibration, cleaning & maintenance.

Carry out testing, analysis, and record high-quality data.

Manage lab stock and equipment.

Share results and support team members as the facility grows.
What We’re Looking For

BSc in Science (or related field).

6–12 months’ lab experience (co-op/internships count!).

A detail-focused, problem-solving mindset.

Great communicator, flexible, and eager to learn.

Comfortable with shift work.
