My client, a well-established multinational expert in providing supply chain services to pharma, medical device and FMCG companies is looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join its team based on customer site in Dublin City Centre

The responsibilities for the desired Junior Procurement Specialist include:
- Complying with Health & Safety
- Day to day procurement along, looking after all queries that come into head office.
- Reporting directly to the procurement lead.
- Adherence to strict deadlines, providing timely, accurate information.
- Responsible for delivering KPIs.
- Effectively manage client relationships
- Other ad hoc duties as required including Invoice query resolution
- A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, creative skills, the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions
The requirement for the Junior Procurement Specialist include:
- Previous experience with engineering spare parts preferred
- Strong procurement background with excellent administrative skills
- Previous GMP experience an advantage.
- Previous experience using using ERP systems such as SAP, EAM’s, Maximo Oracle etc. an advantage
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask, work to deadlines and work under pressure.
- Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner with strong presentation skills
- Flexible approach to all areas of the role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel essential
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
