The Role

My client, a data centre solutions provider, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their operations in South Dublin. This is a full-time, office-based, fixed term contract.

As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting the business by delivering strategic and operational HR services.

Tasks & Duties

  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and deliver HR solutions that support and drive organisational goals.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality, responsive, and accurate HR support to all employees across the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee pre-on-boarding activities (e.g. work permits, relocation, employee files) and off-boarding tasks (e.g. resignation processing, equipment returns, exit interviews).
  • Generate, distribute, and track contracts and HR documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely closure.
  • Address employee relations and HR issues by offering practical, legally sound advice and escalating complex matters when appropriate.
  • Keep HR systems up-to-date and accurate, ensuring key processes such as payroll and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Support performance management processes and contribute to employee wellbeing through programs like EAP and absence management.
  • Participate in and lead HR projects, supporting cross-functional initiatives such as payroll, recruitment, and graduate programs.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with 5+ years of experience in a professional HR role.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with HR software tools; able to leverage technology to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Committed to continuous development, handling sensitive information with discretion, and actively contributing to HR initiatives and projects.
