This rapidly growing, well-established organisation in County Kildare, with an annual turnover exceeding €80 million, is recruiting for a HR Director role.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced People and Performance Manager or HR Director level candidates to join the Senior Leadership Team. You will be providing expert coaching, refining HR policies and procedures, and driving strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Owners; Group CEO & MD, you will take full ownership of the HR function in this standalone HR position, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.

  • Provide specialist HR support to the Senior Management Team and employees across the entire employee life cycle.
  • Review and enhance HR processes to support the company’s ongoing expansion.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a strong pipeline of top-tier talent.
  • Oversee and manage employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinaries, while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation.
  • Review and optimize compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent, staying ahead of market trends.
  • Sufficient and up to date knowledge in the changing landscape of Irish Employment Laws
  • Experience in the recruitment/ selection function and latterly the experience required for amicable termination of employees no longer required

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at Director or Managerial level
  • Proven experience advising senior leadership, leading recruitment activities, and refining HR policies & procedures
  • Proficiency in HR systems, performance appraisals, and training & development planning
  • Preferably, experience in the construction or engineering industry
  • HR degree or CIPD qualification (desirable)
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
